Communication via Superchat / WhatsApp Business API

We use the messenger tool “Superchat” to communicate with our customers and interested parties. The provider is Superchat GmbH, Berlin.

Purpose and legal basis:

We use this service to process inquiries more efficiently and to enable modern, fast communication. WhatsApp is used via the official WhatsApp Business API, which is connected via Superchat. This prevents private contacts from mobile devices from being transferred to WhatsApp without permission. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in effective customer communication (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or, if you actively contact us via this channel, for the implementation of pre-contractual measures or for the fulfillment of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Order processing:

We have concluded an order processing agreement (AVV) with Superchat GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. This ensures that Superchat processes the data strictly in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Data transfer to third countries:

Since Superchat connects to the WhatsApp Business API, data is forwarded to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Ireland/USA). Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which guarantees an adequate level of data protection.

 

YouTube with enhanced privacy

This website embeds videos from YouTube. The website is operated by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When you visit one of our websites that includes embedded YouTube videos, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
